Imagine going to the doctor to get treatment for a __24__ fever. Rather than
give you a pill or a shot, the doctor implants a tiny robot into your
bloodstream. The robot detects the cause of your fever, travels to the
appropriate system and provides a dose of medication directly to the __25__
area. It sounds like science fiction, yet some of the applications of
nanotechnology are not far off.
Nanotechnology is a science which involves developing and producing machines
on an atomic scale. The prefix nano __26__ the Greek word, meaning
“ one billionth.”__ 27__ , a nanometer is one billionth of a meter, about
the size of six carbon atoms in a row. Justifiably __28__ as nanobots,
the nanomachines no lain diameter than a human hair can do anything. They can
clear the cholesterol in the arteries before you fall victim to
cardiovascular diseases. They can __29__ and kill cancer cells or other __30__
viruses. They
can heal and restore any dysfuorgan. It is even speculated that nanorobots
could slow or __31__ the aging process, perhaps extending the human life
span __32__ scores of years. Nanorobots coube programmed to perform delicate
surgeries -- such nanosurgeons could wo __33__ the sharpest scalpel.
By working on such a small scale, a nanorobot could operate without leaving
the scars.
Nanorobot applications in the field of medicine are practically miraculous.
__34__ the exotic applications are currently only theoretical,
we are looking forward to seeing the wonders that nanotechnology will create.

上面这篇cloze没有标准答案
我个人的答案是 DBACD DCBCBC
