本课程将阅听人研究放置於文化研究的背景,探讨阅听人研究兴起的历史脉络,尤其是强
调阅听人如何从消极被动的角色到被发掘其抵抗、主动积极的诠释过程与多元化的实践-
包含民族志(ethnography) 作为一重要的研究方法理解阅听人日常生活消费的情境、女性
读者的通俗剧观赏与协商现实世界亲密关系的发展、罗曼史阅读经验、族裔认同的接收、
八卦新闻/卫星电视与品味的划分、迷族群/新媒体科技/跨国影像流动/全球化的相互交
流如何重新绘制科技/跨文化地理与激发虚拟社群互动性集结。
本课程期许修课者能够熟悉不同阅听人相关的理论与个案探讨,并进一步琢磨训练修课者
以下几个方面的能力: 挖掘自己有兴趣了解的阅听接收议题、适当的选择评估阅听人研究
的取向与研究角度,以及研究者对於研究对象阅听人的诠释权与诠释意义建构。
课程要求与评分方式
1. 课堂出席率、迟到早退与参与讨论的用心程度。若因故无法上课,请事先告知。若事
出突然临时无法上课,也请电话通知所办助理,请助理转告。此外,若不时有迟到状况将
影响期末成绩。(15%)
2. 各修课者须针对每周阅读材料做重点式摘要报告与回应(约1000字以内)。上课时须
针对阅读想法提出问题或抒发感想,并接受其他同学提问。(20%)
3. 课堂导读分配回应(学期初分组)(15%)
*因应阅读资料,於课堂中负责提出你/你所观察到相关特定的现象或文本供课堂讨论与
延伸思考,或补充说明背景资料。目的是希望同学能练习如何与课堂所指派的读本对话,
并能触类旁通,练习培养观点,并建立批判的思考取向。课堂导读同学须控制时间导读,
导读重点,提出阅读意见想法,留空间/时间跟大家交流。课堂导读者也须负责问班上其
他修课者问题,并接受提问 (20 %)
4.期末报告︰发展你有兴趣的研究主题,写一篇期末报告,而此报告必须与课堂所教授过
的理论、概念或范围相关 (6,000- 8,000字)。(50%)
