Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Scenography, scenic art in 1991. Began performances as BIONISEIJIN (alien on the star of beautiful sounds) since 1998. TOYOSHIMA Bion showed the performance “sense of sound” in the 1st Exhibition of Taro Okamoto Award for Contemporary Art in 1998. Since that time he has called himself “BIONISEIJIN”, that means alien on the star of beautiful sounds. He plays “BION (beautiful sounds) Machine” and he wears “ Gibbs for training to be artist”, that is made by springs all over his body.
