The New York Jets will hire John Idzik as the franchise's new general manager.
喷射机将会聘用John Idzik，成为球队新任GM。
Idzik will be the Jets' fourth general manager in the 13 years of Woody
Johnson's ownership.
Idzik也将是喷射机老板Woody Johnson在这13年内聘用的第四任GM。
Johnson said last week his plan was to give the next GM the final say on
personnel matters, but there's little doubt that Rex Ryan will have a voice.
Johnson曾经在上周，指出球队新GM将会有人事政策的最终发言权；不过大部分人认为
总教练Rex Ryan仍会有一席之地。
Idzik wasn't among the first group of candidates to interview for the job,
but he emerged quickly in the second round.
Idzik在第一轮的徵选中并不在领先集团中，但到了第二轮反倒快速的浮出台面。
Idzik was most recently the Seahawks' vice president of football
administration.
Idzik上一份工作，是在海鹰担任球队管理部门副总裁。
