A new report, however, says that Gronkowski’s arm was indeed healed and that the new injury “had nothing to do” with that injured arm not being ready for contact. Citing a source, CSNNE’s Tom E. Curran reported Tuesday that the bone fracture that took place Sunday night happened at the end of the protective plate that had been placed on Gronkowksi’s arm. When Gronkowski underwent surgery on Monday, his original break was “fully healed and was intact. The report says that the plate that had been placed in Gronkowski’s arm presents a risk, though the fact that the break took place now as opposed to “three years from now” is just an instance of bad timing for Gronkowski and the Patriots.
