The woman : ’s mother was present at the time and witnessed the incident. : The player then left the scene and went to the Chiefs practice facility at : Arrowhead. After a confrontation with team personnel, in which they attempted : to stop the player from committing additional acts of violence, he shot : himself. Police heard the single gunshot as they arrived at the scene. : The Chiefs released the following statement: “We can confirm that there was : an incident at Arrowhead earlier this morning.
