It was set up in September 2008 at Singapore’s largest multi-disciplinary R&D hub, Fusionopolis, to conduct research and development of the Integrated Organic Optoelectronic Technology to advance the field of organic electronic device development. Position Openings: 1) Biosensor R&D Engineer The key responsibilities for this position will be in development of biosensors including concept proposal, device design, fabrication and characterization. You will work with multi-disciplined R&D teams to develop and transfer concepts into manufacturable new products. 2) Optical R&D Engineer The key responsibilities for this position will be in development of optoelectronics products including polymer waveguide design, characterization and integration of waveguide with light source and photodetector. You will work with multi-disciplined R&D teams to develop and transfer concepts into manufacturable new products. 3) Process Research Engineer The key responsibilities for this position will be in process development for organic electronics and flexible electronics products. You will work with multidisciplined R&D teams to develop and transfer concepts into manufacturable new products. Job Requirements: For Position 1: - PhD or master degree in chemical engineer, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, biomedical engineer, bio-science, bio-tech, chemistry, physics or related fields - R&D and/or industrial experience as well as traded record in biosensors, Bio-MEMS, microfludic, micro total analysis system - Strong knowledge and hand-on experience in optical based sensing techniques. - Organized, detailed, self-disciplined, self-motivated and self-starter. - Able to work independently as well as a team player - Excellent communication skills For Position 2: - PhD or master degree in physics, optical engineering, electrical engineering or related fields - R&D and/or industrial experience in optics, photonics, waveguide, planer optical circuit, optoelectronics - Organized, detailed, self-disciplined, self-motivated and self-starter. Able to work independently as well as a team player - Excellent communication skills For Position3: - Bachelor, master or PhD degree in electrical engineering, chemical engineer, mechanical engineer, material science and engineer, physics or related fields - Good understanding of organics electronics, flexible electronics and soft electronics manufacturing - Knowledge in various coating techniques, such as spin coating, roll coating, gravure coating, knife coating, inkjet printing, screen printing, dip coating - Experience in laser processing - Experience in manufacturing industry and knowledge in statistical process control would be an advantage - Responsible, organized, detailed, self-disciplined and quick learner.
