This might become the most joyful thing when I 'm on call but stays in the nurse station for long time with eye fixing on the computer moniter just to write a history. You may wonder if I got nothing to worry about but writing histories. I will never forget the first night of internship. Because I stayed all night long to finish progress notes and some general histories of new patients, Tracing back the present illness, I think the big problem is that I don't come to patients' bedsites somehow, sometimes. Spending lots of time copying and moderating words is less interesting than seeing, talking to patients or their family members. You may ask why I emphasize in writing. Not only because it takes so much time of mine, but I've not done other things more significant. Blood sampling, IV setting, N-G tube, even giving orders like "urine routine",none of them I 've experienced. This month I run the department of pediatrics. To be continued... . --
