The topic is "2nd Midterm Exam Reminder" :

Two important things:
(I) Details of the 2nd midterm exam
Date: DEC 15 (THU)
Time: 11:10 - 12:50 (no extension)
Place: 理A310
Scope: Ch.1-2, Appendix A.1-3 (B.1-3 for the 2nd edition) and HW#01-08.
Note: The exam time is 100 minutes, so there will not be a lot of problems.
But, you should exercise yourself to do calculations quickly,
and make sure you understand basic concepts well.
Emphasis will be on the subjects not in the 1st midterm exam.
(II) The sign-up sheet
I am rather surprised by the fact that less than a half of students
turned in their sign-up sheets.
If you still fail to do so by noon,
DEC 15, your final grade will be subtracted by 10 POINTS OUT OF 100!
No kidding.
