In order to respond to our brand's expansion, we are searching for a Designer to focus exclusively on Men's Knits and Sweaters to join our multicultural fashion design team and to be located at our HQ in Singapore. An attractive annual compensation package will be offered for the right candidate (between SG$70K and SG$110K according to experience).This annual package will include: Basic Salary x 12 months + Housing Allowance + one time shipping allowance for relocation + medical insurance + mandatory benefits if applicable. OBJECTIVES and RESPONSABILITIES Part of a multicultural and diverse fashion team of more than 10 members, you will be reporting and working under the guidance of our Design Director (31 yrs old French Native). You are ultimately responsible bringing a solid source of creativity for our men lines in knit wears and sweaters for our bi-annual collections while delivering consistency, energy and rigor along the entire fashion design cycle (concept, fabric sourcing, silhouette and fittings) for a global licensee like us. Concept: ‧ You follow seasonal direction set by VP Design/Design director ‧ You translate moods of the season & feeling of the delivery. ‧ You create a collection that both matches our brand requirements and addresses our various market business needs ‧ You keep yourself abreast of International trends (including international market surveys trip) ‧ You assemble & maintain design boards for each delivery Fabric: ‧ You source fabrics through meetings with mills/agents and liaising with Pre Production team ‧ You present fabric selection to Design director, organized by season/delivery ‧ You keep in mind business constraints such as (target price points...) and select fabrics accordingly Silhouette: ‧ You design the line and sketch styles. ‧ You are able to illustrate styles on body ‧ You sketch flats & detail sheets for tech packs Fittings: (required to travel and liaise with our Hong Kong office in charge of fitting and merchandising) ‧ You have a proactive attitude and role regarding fittings, providing feedback and direction on details, fit & trim ‧ You sketch changes made in fittings ‧ You share product knowledge ‧ You attend seasonal sales meetings ‧ You receive seasonal sales feedbacks from merchandising and buying teams & integrate them for following seasons REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS ‧ You have between 3 to 6 years of total working experience in fashion design in a multicultural environment for an international fashion brand covering multiple markets. ‧ You have worked for fashion brands similar or related to DNKY JEANS market positioning and brand's inspiration and style. ‧ You are highly creative and able to transform an idea into a business reality and success. ‧ Although not necessarily based in Asia, you have a previous experience liaising with sourcing/ merchandising/design teams based in Asia and understand the specific requirements and practices in this region. ‧ You have a degree in fashion or related fields. ‧ You are able to work closely with your direct management, take directions as well as open to exchange of ideas and know-how. ‧ You are hands on, autonomous and able to liaise with other teams and meet multiple business deadlines. ‧ You are fluent in English.
