Oya said I should post my diary here......... Well, I went to "breakfast club" this morning, and we all had a good chat during our meal. After breakfast, I had my acting class, and today the teacher spent most of time on reviewing Stanislavski's concepts, and it was kind of lon, but hopefully it was not that boring at all. After we were done, the teacher asked us to do some warm-up games. The first one was about getting the beach ball, and there were two teams in competition. Luckily, my team got the ball every section. :) And then we played a game which two people form a group, and had to keep eye contact with each other. One person is a leader of movement, and the other was a follower. This game was so interesting, and it turned to a type where there's no follower neither leader. Just as what we do usually, the teacher asked for our response, and I felt no fear to raise my hand and talked about mine. After the moment, I realized I've learned a lot in this class, and I became more and more willing to share my thoughts in front of the classmates. I felt happy for myself. ^___^ Anyway, I went to the conference with my public speaking teacher after lunch. She let me watch the vediotape of my speec first. I thought it would be weird at fisrt, but figured out it's a really good way to improve myself. After asking my evaluation for myself, my teacher said I did a good job, and she was amazed by my vocal variety, facial expression, and hand gesture. She also gave me some good suggestion. All in all, she said I did a good job and gave me 91 scores (A-) (I learned that A is 94~100 and A- is 90~94 in W&M, and there's no A+); she also reminded me to keep the enthusiasm for the following speeches. My teacher was positive that the skills I've leraned in Toastmaster are good. I was happy to get the praise from my teacher, and I know there are still rooms for me to improve. The rest time of today was for studying my marketing exam, and I really wanted get a good grade on it and impress my marketing teacher as well. ( He's so nice to allow me to have my dictionary with me on the exam ) I'll do my best! Wish me luck! -- --
