Life Lessons I learned recently- part 2 The touch from my club is still continuing. Our club invited a political celebrity to give a speech to us. She told us a lot about the tips to be a leader. The most impressing thing to me is that she mentioned that Warren Buffett has once said that the three most important characteristic of people he would hire are “intelligence”, “integrity”, and “team spirit”. He doesn’t care much about what those people have done before, because their past experience would not help in solving the future problems they will meet. Therefore, he check weather they have the ability to face the problem which is very new to them. I was quite surprise about this. I used to participate in training programs and find something to be busy with in hopes of gaining experience, or “becoming more competitive.” However, according to his words, what do I work so hard for? I suddenly realized that many “outside skills” can be learned quickly, but the “inside ability” takes time to cultivate. I decided, from now on, I want to spend more time on building up my self-examination ability and social relationship, not just be busy on something very facial.-->还是在指雷倩的演讲啦XD 巴菲特用人的那一段~ Another lesson is that “Life is a long-term and continues accumulative process.” This is learned from an article talking about that we usually worried about what we should do first in our life, which is in fact not really important, because what really belongs to us will finally come in to our life; it’s only the time matter. For instance, the writer didn’t want to get a Master degree since he entered university, but life turns him to get a Doctorate degree in Oxford University. He drops a conclusion that we’ll get what we deserve in life; we don’t have to importunate it. I suddenly woke up from a long-term error. Though I am not able to enter National Taiwan University and to study something about science, I can still get into the science area, if it’s what I deserve. If I can’t, that would be a sign that I can do better in other area. Really, I feel happier recently. Though I ’m not sure if it’s because of our club, I believe I will keep growing and come to perfection by the club’s help. 好了，英文心得在此暂告一段落~~ 不好意思，心得憋太久，一次泄洪，太多啦~ --
