数方作业会已经改完 礼拜四中午左右会放在 综合院馆南栋10楼经济系 经博三杜业荣的信箱(外系同学如不晓得信箱位置可至系办询问) 经济系与外系同学的作业分开放(经济系同学的在纸袋内) 本次作业主要有两个问题 1.判断正(负)半定矩阵必须检查"所有"的principle minors (参见阿福开的参考书,Hoy et al., p.506) 这个陷阱有考过 2.关於y=(0.5x1^2+0.5x2^2)^0.5的判断 请注意下面两个proposition (1)If the function U is concave and the function g is nondecreasing and concave then the function f defined by f (x) = g(U(x)) is concave. 上面这条是老师讲义里写的 (2)If the function U is convex and the function g is nondecreasing and convex then the function f defined by f (x) = g(U(x)) is convex. 这条老师讲义里未提到 出处:http://www.economics.utoronto.ca/osborne/MathTutorial/CVNF.HTM 由於本题U is convex,而g却是concave,在这个情况下似乎无法透过U来判断g 如果各位有看到可以连结上述关系的定理 或老师上课有提到 欢迎指正 --
