性格必考题：十四个原则中英对照
１.In my relationships with persons I have found that it dose not help,
in the long run, to act as though I were something that I am not.
译：在我和他人的关系中，我发现：如果把眼光放远一点的话，那麽我若有意地想

２.I find I am more affective when I can listen acceptantly to myself, and
can be myself.

３.I have found it of enormous value when I can permit myself to understand
another person.

４.I have found it enriching to open channels whereby others can communicate
their feelings, their private perceptual worlds, to me.
译：我发现如果我能打开一些管道，让别人可由之而向我传达他们的感觉和他们个人所
体验的世界，那将会丰富我的体验。
５.I have found it highly rewarding when I can accept another person.
译：我发现当我能接纳他人时，我会感到无比欣慰。
６.The more I am open to the realities in me and in the other person, the less
do I find myself wishing to rush in to "fix things."
译：我愈是能够向我自己以及他人内在的真实而展开时，我愈能发现自己不会急忙地想

７.I can trust my experience.
译：我能够信任我自己的体验。
８.Evaluation by others is not a guide for me.
译：别人对我的评价并不能引导我。
９.Experience is, for me, the highest authority.
译：对我而言，体验本身具有至高无上的权威性。
１０.I enjoy the discovering of order in experience.
译：我很喜欢在体验之中发现顺序。
１１.The facts are friendly.
译：事实总是友善的。
１２.What is most personal is most general.
译：但凡是最属於个人的，便也是最为普遍的。
１３.It has been my experience that persons have a basically positive
direction.
译：我的体验告诉我说：人都具有一个基本上是积极的方向。
１４.Life, at its best, is a flowing, changing process in which nothing
is fixed.
译：人的生命，在最好的状况下，乃是个流动、变化的过程，其中没有什麽是固着不变的。
