Smoltz graduated from Waverly High School in Lansing so he is
a long-time Spartans fan. (Magic Johnson (MSU->Lakers) is a
Lansing native too.)
Coach Izzo invited Smoltz to speak to the team in the end of the
regular season. One of the topics Smoltz discussed centered on
how athletes can't fear failure in pressure situations.
That's what Spartans showed last week. :)
