Heat coach Pat Riley said he's still working with Davis to adjust his game with
an offense driven to get Shaquille O'Neal the ball, the South Florida
Sun-Sentinel reports.
Recommendation: Davis is a scorer that usually does his best work as a
freelancer and not within a structured system. "We're working with him a little
bit on that," Riley said. "He's got to understand what he's doing out there.
But he's a shot-maker and, so, if you take that instinct away from him, then he
might not get to where he has to get to. But when the Big Guy's open underneath
the basket, we don't want him jacking threes."
