Hamilton will return to Pistons Sunday Detroit Pistons guard Richard Hamilton did not join the team Friday, though team officials said he would play Sunday in the home opener against Atlanta according to the Detroit News. Hamilton has been home with his newborn son. Richard Clay Hamilton II , eight pounds, 21 inches, was born Oct. 31. It is the first child for Hamilton.
