板主 spurs2120 寄信讨论了几个 Arenas 条款的问题。
碍於私信不公开，大致上提到了
(1) 如何计算最高薪资
(2) Gilbert Arenas 条款中，适用的要件 (有三，但这篇暂略过)
(3) back-loaded 合约中，如何计算第三年薪资的问题；同时，如果发生板主
在 Jeremy Lin 版提到的极端状况：一年级生 RFA 就拿到 max offer 时，
如何计算薪资的问题。
谨回覆如下，当然也欢迎指教 :P

They use a different cap calculation to determine the maximum salaries,
which is based on 42.14% of projected BRI rather than 44.74%. For this
reason, the maximum salaries are not actually 25%, 30% or 35% of the cap,
and instead are a slightly lower amount. For example, even though the
salary cap for 2011-12 is $58.044 million and 25% of this amount is $14.511
million, the 0-6 year maximum salary is actually $12,922,194.
In addition,
for 2012-13 a 5.8% increase in maximum salaries was agreed to, even though
the salary cap stayed the same as 2011-12.
所以 2011-12 的六年级生起薪，最高是表列的 $12,922,194、2012-13 则是该数字
乘以 1.058 = $13,671,681 (不过表列 $13,668,750，是当误差值看待吗？ XD)
(3) (a) Lin 的状况

我想关键句在这一段：

as it would have been had the first-year salary not been limited by this
rule to the Non-Taxpayer Mid-Level exception。
所以计算 X 时，要当成「2012-14 根本没有受限」，也就是假装 Arenas 条款
不存在的情况下，每年 4.5% 调薪後，2014-15 所能拿到的薪资；试算如下：
2012-13 2013-14 2014-15
13,668,750 14,283,843 14,898,937 (=X)
但因为 Arenas 条款强制把 2012-14 的数字压在全额中产及 4.5% 调薪，所以 Lin
拿到的 offer sheet长这样：
2012-13 2013-14 2014-15
5,000,000 5,225,000 14,898,937
合约总额 25,123,937 ≒ 25.1M，符合媒体所传数字。
(b) spurs2120 提到的「一年级生 RFA 拿 max contract」的状况
假设是 2011-12 的落选球员，签一年底薪(所以用非鸟 x 1.2 > 5M
的更极端状况不存在)。
首先遇到的问题是：根本没有早鸟，母队得拿全额中产或薪资空间去 match，
所以要是母队没有全额中产(团队薪资高於「Apron - 全额中产 + 1USD」，或
薪资空间少於全额中产、却又低於薪资上限)或空间，就完全没有能力 match。
以下以「有能力 match」来讨论。
2012-13 2013-14 2014-15 2015-16
13,668,750 14,283,843 14,898,937 15,514,031
但因为 Arenas 条款限制前两年薪资，以及最後一年调薪幅度
降为第三年的 104.1%(事实上反而略高，这可以解释为什麽用
Arenas 条款後，第四年的调薪幅度反而比正常 4.5%低的原因
：基准薪资较高。不是第一年的 13.5%，而是第三年的 4.1%；
如果第四年也给第三年的 4.5%反而是双重调薪)，所以实际合
约长相如下：
2012-13 2013-14 2014-15 2015-16
5,000,000 5,225,000 14,898,937 15,569,389
合约总额 ≒ 40.6M
在这种极端状况中，该球员的顶约是 40.6M/4Y
(7/17 19:48 增补：後来想想，这不只是「一年级RFA拿 max 合约」的顶约数字，
而是「2012 free agency back-loaded contract」的共同顶约 - Lin 最多也是
这个价格：40.6M/4Y)
