这几天听了Little Children配乐之後，
又重新复习了他的American Beauty, Road to Perdition跟The Good German
我只能说：
What's wrong with this world???
大家居然可以接受Gustavo Santaolalla已经有两座奥斯卡
而Thomas Newman一座都没有？
我以前觉得Thomas Newman的作品就那样差不多了，
相同的曲感跟乐器(打击乐器与拨弦乐器)
大致上就可以用"光怪陆离"这四个字概括
我错了！！！
去年的两部作品
The Good German跟Little Children非常有突破～
但这两部真的多少被片子拖垮，要知道奥斯卡爱的配乐多少是有点喧宾夺主的
(举例：去年的Notes On a Scandal，我觉得是Glass很差的作品)
Good German在看电影的时候，大概是太无聊，我完全没注意到配乐。
但单听原声带，这是跟他以往很不一样的精致复古曲风，
我真的不会觉得这是Thomas Newman的作品。
Little Children更该入围！妈呀！
简直就是及他功力的大成。
这部片的弱势在於片子太低调安静，
所以其实根本可以跟In the Bedroom一样不太需要配乐。
看的时候也没特别注意配乐。
单听才知道厉害，曲风超级多元，
有快有慢，有沉稳的也有活泼的。
所以他就把功力都注在End title中，
太 棒 了!
非常非常精致的弦乐。
结合他过去所有的风格。
Thomas Newman是个很会写End title的作曲家。
