Nicky Hayden: I am quite impressed with it, this is the first time I have ridden it. It seems to be nearly ready, but obviously we still have a lot of work to do on it and to continue developing it, but it is a good start. If you ask me in a couple of weeks I will be able to tell you more. 第一次骑上它时(羞)看起来完成度是满高的 但其实还要发展满多地方的 但这也算是一个好的开始 几个星期後 我会给你更多的心得 Q: How does it compare it to the 2007 bike? 跟07年的车相比勒? NH: It is very similar, there are no big differences. Perhaps the biggest is the use of pneumatic valves which are attracting all the attention. 没有什麽太大的差别 硬要说的话就是使用了气动式进排气阀门吧 I like the rider position, the handlebars and the ride which are all very similar to the 2007. I also like the weight transfer; it is not so sudden and not as aggressive as on the previous bike. 骑乘位置跟把手跟07年相差不大 我很喜欢这点(怎麽跟前几天讲的不一样...@@) 车辆荷重的转移也不像07年那样的突然 急促了 Q: The Repsol Honda Team announced a few days ago that it would keep its ties with Michelin are you satisfied with this decision? Repsol Honda Team几天前宣布说 将继续使用轮胎人 你满不满意这个决定? NH: Yes. They have a lot of work to do but that is because they can improve. 虽然他们还需要努力一些 但是因为他们可以改进 所以我还满支持这个决定 They have not been at the level expected this year but I am dying to see the material that we are going to use next year. 轮胎人今年的表现并不符合我们的期望 但我还是很渴望看看明年要用的轮胎是怎样 Bridgestone has been ahead of us the whole year and I hope that next season we are stronger. The level this year was not good enough. 桥石今年一整年压着我们打 我当然希望明年我们能强一些 今年轮胎的表现实在是不够好 Q: Have you found something new in the tyre tests this time? 轮胎测试时有什麽新发现嘛? NH: It may be, but the most important thing right now is to get used to the bike before thinking about testing new tyres. 也许有一些吧 但我觉得赶快熟悉新车比较重要 (暗示轮胎人还是不行?????) Q: How hard was it to lose the number one? 失掉1号车手的地位 很痛苦吧? NH: It was painful, something hard to swallow, above all because of how I lost it. 痛到我难以下咽 尤其是我怎麽输掉的这部份 I would have preferred to have been fighting and to have been stronger, but we were unlucky the whole season. 我比较喜欢能在战斗中且比较强的时候输掉我的1号车号 但整赛季我们都很衰.... It was a hard blow, I am not going to lie, it was frustrating for the team because we had hopes of doing really well. We can do things much better. What can I do? Just get over it and go out to win next year. 我不想说谎 但这真的是一个很大的打击 队上对此也很沮丧 我们本来有希望可以跑得更好的 但是现在我也不能做什麽了 只能在下个赛季努力去赢回来了 Q: Are you ready to fight for the number one again? 你准备好去为了1号车牌大战一场了嘛? NH: Of course. This was a very tough year. I am not at all pleased. Next year I have to ride at a much higher level, hope to be stronger and to have much more fun. 当然 今年是很艰难的一年 我当然不会很满意 明年我必须要骑的更高一个层级 希望能变更强 也希望能更有乐趣 Q: What was the best moment in the 2007 season? 对你来说 07赛季最棒的时刻是那些? NH: I would say the pole in Portugal. It was a good reward after what happened there the year before. 葡萄牙站的竿位 跟06年发生在这的是比起来 这是一个很棒的补偿 (XDDDD) And it was good for the team because I have confidence in them and they have confidence in me too. 这让我跟车队彼此间都很有信心 The podiums in Holland, Germany and Czech republic were also good moments. 还有在荷兰 德国 捷克登上颁奖台也都是很美好的回亿 Q: And the worst? 那最糟的时刻咧? NH: Not finishing at home, in Laguna Seca, that was very hard. 美国站时未能完赛 这让我非常难过 The truth is that there were many bad moments, this what top class racing is like. 老实说 顶级赛事就是像这样子 有很多不好的时刻 But I realised that you have to learn from both the bad as well as the good and I am dying to get back on the top. 但我从中了解到 你必须要从好事坏事中学习 而且我很渴望重新回到颁奖台上 Q: No time to rest, the 2007 season just ended last Sunday and on Tuesday you were preparing for 2008. Is it too much? 07赛季上星期天才结束 星期二你就在准备08赛季了 一点休息时间也没有 这样会不会很累? NH: No. It is not an easy job, but I know there are a lot worse around. 不会累 这并不是一份轻松的工作 但我知道还有更累人的 Being a Honda factory rider in MotoGP is a privilege, and I am not going to cry about the work I have. 当一个Honda厂队的车手是一种殊荣 而且我也不会去抱怨我的工作 We have travelled a lot in the last two months and in the next two, that is a bit of a drag, it is not all smiles. You are always moving from one place to another, but that goes with the pay cheque. I cannot say that it is too much. 这两个月来我们一直从某个地方飞到下一个地方 而且接下来两个也将是一样 这对我来说是有点乏味 但是我的薪水就是这样赚来的 我不能说这样子很辛苦 (XD) Q: It seems that Honda is making a big effort to be competitive again, but now the bike is new does that mean that you start from zero again? Honda在让车变得更有竞争力上花了很多力气 但你面对一台全新的车 这代表你是否又要从头开始了呢? NH: It is a completely different bike. I would say that in many aspects we are beginning from zero, but from a higher base level. 这是一量完全不同的车 从很多方面来看 我们的确去从零开始努力 但确是从一个更高的基准上开始 Honda's commitment in the bad times encouraged me, when the results did not come. They did not give up and that shows what a great company it is. I am going to the Milan Motorbike show, then to New York for the launch of the MTV movie “Kentucky Kid” on TRL, an important programme in the USA to promote it. 赛季是不会结束的 我会去米兰摩托车展 然後到纽约参加MTV制作的电影"Kentucky Kid"的首映 After that I will go straight to practice in Malaysia. 接下来是马来西亚的测试 Then my elder brother gets married on Thanksgiving holiday weekend, I have to go to make sure he goes through with it. We are going to have a great time. 然後在感恩节的那个周末去参加我大哥的婚礼 Finally there is practice in Jerez and then in December everything will slow down, although I have some commitments with sponsors. I will try to spend some time at home and do some physical training. 最後在西班牙Jerez还有一场测试 到了12月 除了一些赞助商的活动 就都没什麽事了 我会尽量待在家里做些体能训练 -- 噗噗噗~~ --
