It really scared us when we were able to see the x-rays. He has a fracture that starts at the base of his skull just above his C-1 vertebrae and runs all the way to his nasal cavity in his nose. All together about 1 foot long. He was cleared by his doctor a couple of weeks ago to play baseball. As for me and my wife and kids, we are enjoying a little time off from all of the stress of baseball and living in a foreign country. Other than that everything is going well. I must close for now but thank you for showing your concern. You are a genuine fan of baseball and I appreciate you taking the time to write.
