Avenged Sevenfold (七级炼狱) 的鼓手James Owen Sullivan
於2009/12/28在家中被人发现已无生命迹象
报告最後指出为自然死亡, 得年28岁
看来真的是天妒英才...
不久後A7X在Myspace上发表了一篇祝福他的文章
虽有万般不舍 还是希望大家祝福Jimmy一路好走... R.I.P
JIMMY "THE REV" SULLIVAN
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing
today of Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world's
best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our
thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy's family and we hope that you will
respect their privacy during this difficult time.
Jimmy you are forever in our hearts.
We love you.

Jimmy是我很喜欢的鼓手之一 ...
包括他特别的长相跟声音
身为A7X的鼓手与Back-up vocalist
不少单曲里可以发现他的声音
包括 "A Little Piece of Heaven", "Brompton Cocktail",
"Gunslinger", "Lost", "Afterlife" 与 "Almost Easy"
其中最令我印象深刻的是a little piece of heaven的一段
Must have stabbed him fifty fuckking times, I can't believe it.
Ripped his heart out right before his eyes,
eyes over easy. Eat it, eat it, eat it
搭起MV很有俏皮邪恶的味道, 非常有fu的一段
重播他们Live In The LBC的DVD
在Long Beach California把这首当作安可曲, 最後带来的感触...
如今某部份... 已成为绝响...
最後用这首Dear God纪念这位伟大的鼓手...
