http://goo.gl/v6Gj6 It's been confirmed that game sharing on PS3 is going to be scaled down this month. At the moment, you can purchase nearly any game on the Store, and up to four other people will be able to play it as long as your account is activated on their PS3. However, from November 18th, this will be scaled down to two. That'll include the machine the content was originally downloaded on, and one other. You'll get four activations in all though, 2 on PS3 and 2 on PSP. If you're picking up a Vita, you'll hopefully get 2 more as well. The good news is that you'll now be able to handle activations online, and select which consoles you want to remain active. It'll save the headache of contacting Sony's customer service, at least. It's clearly been put in place to protect the developers, who haven't been too happy about the game sharing rules in the past.
