I live in Taipei, Taiwan. I'm 29 years old. I work in the fashion business at a store called IMmense Concept which is located in Taipei. As matter of fact, I was not a professional in clothing before. I used to be an industrial designer. It was a very interesting transformation in my life. I'm achieving my dream job now. How did you first get interested in fashion and why is it important? I wear what I am. The first time I "touched" fashion, I started realizing that we don't need to follow anything or anyone. No style is my style. You keep your own blog. What motivated you to start blogging? In the beginning, I just wanted share my life and what touched me. In recent years, I want to share my style and influence Taiwan mens' style, because Taiwan men wear and pick their clothing very traditionally. How would you describe the fashion scene in Taiwan? Taipei City is the fashion capital in Taiwan. Taipei combines British and Japanese style, though of course, Hong Kong influences us a lot because H.K. is nearby us. In other cities like Taichung, Japanese style influences more than any other style. What do you love about living in Taipei? I'm familiar with everything. Taipei is my born place; I have no reason not to love it. Top 3 places to visit in Taiwan: Taipei, Taichung and Kaoshung. Taipei has Eslite (a famous bookstore) open 24 hours. Taichung has many famous night markets. Kaoshung has hot weather throughout the year. If you are visiting Taiwan you absolutely must to go to the night markets and feel the enthusiasm of the people of Taiwan. Describe your personal style. As matter of fact, no style is my style. I like to try every style on. I don't really want to limit myself, so I'll try many styles and collect some special items. Do you have a favorite designer? Rick Owens. Favorite color(s)? Black and red. The first thing you look at in another person's outfit is: One's whole mix and match. I won't focus on one item because it would [obscure] his/her style. What do you skimp on? Eating. I was fatttttt once. What do you splurge on? Excellent clothing design. A fashion rule you always break: Don't follow the "fad." A fashion rule you never break: Find the style that suits you. What do you think is the most recent notable trend to appear/reappear, and what are your thoughts on it? "Outdoors" began a trend in 2010. I've started noticing that "close to nature" look on people. It's a good direction in fashion; men could loosen their tight skinny pants, be healthier. What camera do you shoot with, and what is your top photography tip? Canon 450D. I improve my shots by adding a nice atmosphere. What is the most underrated item in menswear and womenswear? For men: a suitable watch. For women: a luxury coat, a graceful high heel, a luxury bag. What is your next "must have" purchase? In 2010 S/S, I could consider getting a sneaker. Are there any fashion icons or famous people whose style you admire? In Western, I like Johnny Depp. In Eastern, I admire Odagiri Joe. What music are you listening to these days? Tiesto's new set in 2010. How wonderful it is! What can't you live without? My lover Madi. So cute! She looks as stylish as you! I thought she is a person with strong personal style, too. We'll sometimes wear the same style to make a theme as a couple. Next place you want to travel to: Japan. I've been there 2006; so many stylish people there and very comfortable environment. Who's your favorite on LOOKBOOK.nu? I admire Andre, because he has his own style. Hype! In the year 2015 you will be: Haha. Maybe we will all die in 2012. What would you say to someone seeking general fashion advice?
