Kings, Heat Strike Deal For Roger Mason Jr.
The Kings will acquire Roger Mason Jr. and subsequently waive him, reports Ken Berger of CBSSports.com (Twitter link). Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel suggests the Heat will send cash to Sacramento in exchange for the veteran shooting guard (on Twitter). The Heat will drop to 14 players with the deal, allowing them to bring someone else aboard via signing or another trade. Sacramento will take Mason into its last remaining roster spot after acquiring Jason Terry and Reggie Evans for Marcus Thornton on
Wednesday.
