SALT LAKE CITY - Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade missed today's practice at EnergySolutions Arena due to a migraine.
Wade, who has been bothered by infrequent such episodes since college, remained at the team hotel and is expected to participate in Wednesday morning's shootaround in advance of Wednesday night's game against the Utah Jazz.
Wade missed a Jan. 14, 2005 double-overtime loss to the Los Angeles Clippers due to a migraine. He was treated just before that game with Imitrex and was free of his symptoms by the time his teammates returned to the locker room.
He received a similar treatment today, which has the team's training staff confident of a return for the final game of this five-game trip.
The sixth-year shooting guard is coming off a 37-point, 13-assist, five-rebound performance in Monday night's 130-129 overtime victory over the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena.
