They are expected to sign today forward Al-Farouq Aminu, who has been with New Orleans the last three seasons after being a key piece in the trade that sent Chris Paul to the Los Angeles Clippers. The 6-9 Aminu has a nose for defense and rebounding, but is very limited offensively. In addition, the Mavericks will sign point guard Jameer Nelson, as long as he passes a physical. Those signings will bring to 14 the number of guaranteed contracts on the roster. They also have Eric Griffin signed to a non-guaranteed deal. In Aminu, the Mavericks are getting a player who they believe will be able to help defensively against the top Western Conference offensive players like Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant and James Harden. He is not a gifted offensive player, but the Mavericks have Dirk Nowitzki and Chandler Parsons manning the starting forward positions, so having a defensive presence behind them should provide a good balance. A look at the roster: Center: Tyson Chandler, Brandan Wright. Power forward: Dirk Nowitzki, Al-Farouq Aminu, Greg Smith. Small forward: Chandler Parsons, Jae Crowder, Richard Jefferson, Eric Griffin. Shooting guard: Monta Ellis, Devin Harris, Ricky Ledo. Point guard: Jameer Nelson, Raymond Felton, Gal Mekel 小牛2014-15阵容 目前队上有14人 最终阵容大至上确定了 我认为Greg Smith会担任主要的中锋替补 Wright会打到PF 三号部份Parsons会吃掉大部份时间 Crowder担任替补 後卫部份Ledo跟Mekel没意外的话 不会有太多上场时间 Harris/Jefferson板凳火力 现在就4 5号替补偏弱一些 阵容大至上还完整跟灵活度高 "健康"会是一大关键 --
