The free agent-to-be was there again today when the Nets opened a three-day mini-camp for veteran free agents who didn't play in the NBA last season, and once again, Williams was wearing a gray "Brooklyn Basketball'' T-shirt and black Brooklyn Nets shorts. But he was still wearing his red-and-blue sneakers -- the old Nets colors. So a reporter (me) teased him that he needed to get new sneakers in different colors. "They don't know what colors to make,'' Williams said with a smile. Williams did chat a little bit with Adam Morrison, the biggest name among the 21 free agents participating at the camp. Morrison played this season for Besiktas, of the Turkish league, the same team Williams played for during the NBA lockout. Then Williams went and sat next to general manager Billy King and watched the players scrimmage. King was amused that reporters were asking if all of this is a good sign Williams might re-sign with the Nets this summer. "I'll let you guys decipher that,'' King said. "I mean, nothing's changed with Deron. Every day it's – I don't know if people are searching for something ... (but) for me, nothing's changed. Our relationship hasn't changed from end of the season to the middle of the season. He and I joke and spend time and he's getting himself ready for next season.''
