The Mavericks' players divided up their playoff shares on Sunday and they voted not to give Lamar Odom a share. That meant they awarded 14 playoff shares for everybody else on the roster. It's not a ton of cash, unlike last season when winning the NBA Finals meant that the players had more than $3 million to divvy up, the sixth-best record in the league, plus participating in the first round of the playoffs earned the players just $281,937 to split up this season. For 14 players, that comes out to about $20,138 apiece. It's not chump change. But it's 20-grand that Odom will never see. And it's reflective of how he was viewed by his former teammates that he's not getting a playoff share. Odom, of course, was the marquee acquisition before the season and was expected to bring his Sixth Man of the Year pedigree with him.
