Rick Carlisle: No plan to sit Dirk Nowitzki Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said he believes Dirk Nowitzki is making progress with his sore right knee and that he doesn't have any plans to sit his perennial All-Star. Nowitzki acknowledged Wednesday night that his right knee has caused him problems since the start of the season, saying that he is having trouble bending it.
