The subject matter wasn't disclosed, but it's logical to assume that it's to announce that Odom has won the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year Award. That would mean Mavericks guard Jason Terry falling short in his stated season-long goal of winning the award for the second time. Terry seemed to be a front-runner most of the season, but Odom outplayed him a March 31 game in Los Angeles. Terry shot 2-for-9 that day and lost his composure late in the game, pushing Steve Blake as the Lakers guard was already falling to the court.
