Beaubois joined the Mavericks in Houston and went through today's shootaround. He will not be on the active roster tonight, coach Rick Carlisle said. "It's pretty good except if I'm (running) in a straight line and have to cut, it's kind of tough,'' Beaubois said. "But it's getting better every day.'' Rick Carlisle said the upcoming three days off, which will include two practice days, will determine whether Beaubois is able to play on Wednesday. "He's cleared for contact and had one practice,'' Carlisle said. "This is nothing new. It (playing Wednesday) is going to depend on the next four days.
