In a blink-of-an-eye time after we prop up the question of Carmelo-Anthony-to-the-Mavs, we keep thinking … and quickly shoot it down dead. The “Mavs Amateur GM’’ piece on the idea was fun. But the report that Fish and I did for FOXSportsSouthwest.com is effectively its killer. When a Mavs trade won’t happen, it’s just as important to illustrate why not as it was to illustrate why it could, should or will.
