- Griffey hits 400th homer with team; Ichiro debuts with two hits
Ken Griffey Jr. hit his 400th home run in a Mariners uniform and right fielder
Ichiro Suzuki contributed a single and grand slam in his first game of the
regular season on Wednesday night as Seattle extended its winning streak to six
straight with an 11-3 victory over the Angels before 18,516 at Safeco Field.

Griffey's 613th career home run came two pitches after Endy Chavez reached the
right-field bleachers for his first home run of the season. Both blasts in
the fifth inning came off Angels right-hander Jered Weaver and put Seattle in
front for good.

Ichiro's slam in the seventh inning tied Japanese Hall of Famer Isao Harimoto
for the most hits by a Japanese-born player with 3,085.
一朗在七局的满贯炮使他追平日本名人堂选手Isao Harimoto(张本勳)所保持的日本选手
的最多安打(3085支)纪录。
Shortstop Yuniesky Betancourt went 3-for-4 and the catching tandem of
Kenji Johjima and Rob Johnson were a combined 4-for-5. Johjima had two singles
before leaving the game in the fourth inning because of a tight right
hamstring.
今天游击手Yuniesky Betancourt四支三的表现，而前後任捕手城岛与Rob Johnson合计
也有五支四的贡献。城岛在四局因为右腿後腱出状况而离场前，贡献了两支一垒安打。
