Manchester United player ratings: Paul Pogba and Eric Bailly good vs Burnley
Man United are top of the Premier League in January for the first time since
2013 and here are how the players rated at Turf Moor.
David de Gea - 6 (最喜欢看到这种little to deal, nothing to do的评语了
Had little to deal with as Burnley did not manage an attempt on target all
night. Encouraged teammates.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 6
Vulnerable again from crosses aimed towards the far post but Burnley rarely
troubled United.
Eric Bailly - 8
Blocked well from a Chris Wood strike at 0-0 and barely put a foot wrong all
night. Reaffirmed he is the best partner for Harry Maguire.
Harry Maguire - 8 (进球不算可惜
Unfortunate to have a goal disallowed, defended superbly and led impeccably as
United strived to score a winner.
Luke Shaw - 6 (吓死
Fortunate to stay on with his follow-through tackle but otherwise produced a
reasonable performance.
Paul Pogba - 8 (精彩凌空射门折射进!!!
Did not express himself enough among the artisans in the first-half but grabbed
the game by the lapels in the second and scored.
Nemanja Matic - 7
Played Anthony Martial in for a good chance and hardly ever gave the ball away.
United's play mirrored Matic's patience.
Marcus Rashford - 6
His final product was lacking most of the time until he picked out Pogba for
the winner. Eventually substituted for Mason Greenwood.
Anthony Martial - 6
Shot over with his first opening and tested Nick Pope with his second strike. A
much improved showing after the derby.
Bruno Fernandes - 5
Ceded possession and Burnley almost capitalised in the first-half. Looked jaded
and United at least had Pogba to turn to.
Edinson Cavani - 7
Had an on-running battle with Ben Mee and James Tarkowski and was subjected to
a crude tackle from Robbie Brady. Missed some good chances but his movement
gave United options.

Mason Greenwood - 6
Energised the attack.
Scott McTominay - 6
Helped shore things up.
Axel Tuanzebe - N/A
Came on late.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - 8
Selected a physical side to counter Burnley and one of those selected scored
the winner. Patient in resisting a change until after the goal.
