Man Utd vs Newcastle was an absorbing Premier League fixture as Jose Mourinho
watched his players complete an Old Trafford comeback.
David de Gea - 7
Beaten twice by shots on the turn but made a couple of decent saves at 0-2 to
keep United in it.
Ashley Young - 6
Left with twisted blood by Kenedy and then Yoshinori Muto as he resembled a
winger playing at full-back. But crossed for Alexis Sanchez.
Chris Smalling - 4 ("小"林也已经八年了
He has been at United for over eight years and still struggles to pass the
ball out. Forever a stop-gap until United sort out the defence.
Eric Bailly - 1 (怎麽会退步这麽多实在令人费解 本来以为本季要看到他固定先发了
Substituted on 17 minutes with Newcastle 2-0 up. His positioning was awry for
both goals but his removal maybe harsh.
Luke Shaw - 4
Failed to make much of an impact down his side as Newcastle tormented Young
on the opposite flank.
Nemanja Matic - 4 (另外一个退步超多的谜.....
Amazing he stayed on. Cumbersome, pedestrian and languid, he looked burnt out
and missed an open goal. But persevered.
Scott McTominay - 2
Lucky to have lasted the first-half. Struggled throughout and was never going
to settle down the defence. Not up to it at this level.
Paul Pogba - 6
Casual as United trailed but stepped it up slightly in the second-half. Still
nowhere near at his best level.
Marcus Rashford - 3
England obsessives might stop wondering why he does not start that often for
United. Wasted two gilt-edged chances but worked hard.
Anthony Martial - 6 (这球进的漂亮!
Mourinho talked him up before the game. Wasn't vindicating his selection up
until his superb strike.
Romelu Lukaku - 6 (中卫的最佳选择.....XD
Worked tirelessly but to no avail and did not have a chance throughout the
match. Offered some inviting crosses.
