M.E.N. http://tinyurl.com/jszgpc5 De Gea - 6 (可惜了, 本来又是一场nothing to do) Did not have an awful lot to do again as Arsenal attacks collapsed in the final third until Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's cross. Valencia - 8 (那绝对是点球) He has never been so appreciated at Old Trafford. Lifted the crowd with his surges and should have had a penalty. Deserves a new contract. Jones - 6 Used his physicality productively against Arsenal's forwards and did not look fazed despite having two auxiliary defenders to his left. Then he allowed Olivier Giroud in. Rojo - 7 His distribution was poor and Arsenal seemed to scent blood whenever the Argentinian was on the ball but Rojo was game and solid. Darmian - 5 A risky selection, given the specialists that were available and Darmian could have been sent off in the first-half. Did not support Martial as well as Luke Shaw or Daley Blind would have. Carrick - 6 Played very deep but did not get on the ball enough. Seemed conscious of his positioning after the chasing he got at Arsenal last season. Pogba - 7 More reliable on the ball and he brushed off Arsenal's lightweights with ease. Was eager to influence the attack in his favoured role. Herrera - 7 Busy as ever but his defensive responsibilities prevented him from supporting the forwards when he could have had an impact in the first-half. Got forward more in the second and thrived. Mata - 7 Valencia's width allowed him to operate more centrally and Mourinho's programming of Mata is so successful he occasionally filled in at right-back. Scored marvellously. Rashford - 4 (太残忍的评分了...其实今天我觉得还不错啊....) Was bullied by Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi. Tried to press but ended up looking naïve as he was given the run-around. Lucky to stay on as long as he did and was at fault for Giroud's goal. Martial - 5 Had a late flurry in the first-half but United did not offload the ball to him often enough against the jittery Carl Jenkinson and he looked too casual at times. Subs Rooney - 6 Gave Arsenal's defenders a tougher time than Rashford. Blind - 7 Made a big difference with his dexterous passing.
