Edwin van der Sar 7 8.3 Made the saves when required and he will
be missed when he hangs up the boots.
Rio Ferdinand 6 7.5 Solid display at the back -
as we have come to expect.
John O'Shea 5 6.6 No great impact and a half-time sub.
Nemanja Vidic 7 7.9 Physical and dominant and
grabbed a vital goal as well.
Fabio da Silva 6 6.9 Showed some good attacking intent
down the flank.
Ryan Giggs 8 8.0 Veteran who controlled the midfield.
Another gem of a display.
Michael Carrick 5 7.2 Not at his most influential in the
(从黑到白只要一个晚上) centre of the park.
8 Quietly influential in the centre
of the park.
Ji-Sung Park 6 7 9.4 Lots of energy and never gave the
Chelsea players a second.
Wayne Rooney 7 7.7 Snarling display and probably deserved
a goal.
Javier Hernandez 6 7 8.3 Got the vital opener and also missed
a sitter. Bit quiet in between.
Antonio Valencia 7 8.1 Has come back from injury with a
flourish. Some magnificent crosses.
Chris Smalling (Sub) 5 6.4 Late sub for Fabio and his fresh legs
were helpful
Jonny Evans (Sub) 6 6.5 Solid second-half display.

repelled with interest by the fantastic Dutchman

Taking over from his twin brother and it has been an unrecognisable
transition. Solid again

A captain's performance by the title-winning skipper elect.
Stout defending and goal to boot
Rio Ferdinand - 8
Never looked in any major trouble even when Torres was added
to the Drogba threat
John O'Shea - 7
A stoic stand in for Evra marked by one excellent block tackle
on Drogba as he prepared to shoot in box
Ryan Giggs - 8
Tearing 'em apart since 1991 and there is no let up from the
remarkable Welshman
Antonio Valencia - 9
The Ecuadorian was relentless in his tormenting of Ashley
Cole. Always had United on front foot
Park Ji-Sung - 9
Stunning all action start from the Korean set the tone for the
Reds. Tackling and prompting he was the complete package
Michael Carrick - 7
Sensible quiet command of a potentially dangerous Chelsea
engine room
Wayne Rooney - 8
Mr Cool in the most nerve wracking of moments so soon in game
settled everyone - apart from Chelsea
Javier Hernandez - 8
Always on his toes and danger was in the air whenever he
was around
