前英超名哨Clattenburg在《泰晤士报》的专栏中表示，
今晨曼城1-2负於利物浦的比赛里，裁判判Sane的进球为越位是一次误判。
“这球明显是弹到了Milner再到Sane那里，意思就是不越位，
但裁判认为球是从Jesus那里来的。
“助理裁判可能很难看到，但主裁的视角很清楚，他应该发现Jesus不可能碰到球，
Milner就站在他身前。
“这是一个糟糕的判罚，完全改变了比赛——球门後面还有一位裁判。
“如果曼城2-0领先，他们可以想象晋级的可能。
这场比赛再次提醒我们 VAR 的重要性。
“不过，裁判把Guardiola罚上看台是对的。他在半场时极具攻击性地走上球场，
只有他们知道说了什麽，但欧足联对比赛形象的要求非常强硬，
Guardiola明显地越界了。”
