Rockies' Tracy collapses at Winter Meetings http://0rz.tw/szAY9 By Thomas Harding / MLB.com | 12/07/10 1:59 AM EST LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Rockies manager Jim Tracy collapsed near a set of elevators at the Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotel early Tuesday morning and was taken to a local hospital. Tracy was with Rockies coaches Tom Runnells and Carney Lansford at the time of the incident, and they stayed with him until emergency personnel arrived. Tracy was conscious and responsive when he was being attended to, and stood with assistance. After several minutes of being examined, he was taken from the hotel on a stretcher. Jay Alves, the Rockies' vice president of community and public relations, said that was all that was known at the time. Alves went with the coaches and several Rockies officials to the hospital with Tracy.
