It was an honor to work on the greatest hits album of such a famous artist. 1. とても有名な歌手のベスト・アルバムを手がけることができてとても光栄なことだ よ。 2. Misia’s vocal is one of the most powerful and beautiful singers I have ever worked with. 2. 彼女の歌声は仆が今まで仕事をしてきた中でももっとパワフルで美しいものの一つ だよ。 3. I wanted to make all her songs have a rich , lush beautiful sound and also give it a contemporary vibe. 3. 全曲、豊かにしたかった。豪势な美しく现代风なサウンドだ。 4. To make her voice be the focal point of all instruments. Giving her a rich tonal depth. 4. 彼女の声が中心になるよう他の楽器を配置したよ。そして、彼女の声を音色豊かに したんだ。 5. Tsutsumikomuyouni is my favorite…it’s just a great , fun song. Misia sounds amazing and I really like her voice in the chorus. 5.「つつみ込むように･･･」がお気に入りだよ！ただただ素晴らしい、楽しい曲だね 。MISIAは素晴らしいしパファーマンスをしているし、彼女の声もコーラスセクション も大好きだよ。 6. Well lately I’ve been working on Rihanna, Wiz Khalifa, Fun. ,Diane Birch , One Republic,Nas, Flo-Rida,Marina & The Diamonds and Drake 6. えーと、最近のものは、Rihanna、Nas、Flo-Ridaなどだよ。 7. I’m a terrible Bass player so I decided to move to the other side of the glass and found my happiness in mastering. I love sound….great sound. 7. 仆はベースプレイヤーとしてはとても酷かったから、スタジオのガラス越しに别な サイドへ行こうと决心したんだ。そしてマスターリングをやって幸せを感じたんだ。音 が好きだよ。素晴らしい音が。 8. The Beatles “Eight Days a Week” on 7”. First album was George Harrison “Living In The Material World” I just liked the cover that much and knew he was a Beatle. 8. 7歳の时にビートルズの"Eight Days a Week”。アルバムは、ジョージ・ハリスンの "Living in The Material World"だよ。　アルバムのカバーが好きで彼がビートルズの メンバーということで购入したんだ。 9. I’m a father of 3 so I spend my time going to soccer, lacrosse and hockey games.I’m an avid soccer fan and my team is Manchester United. I say Thank You to all involved! 1. とても楽しい作业でした、満足のいく作品が出来たと思っています。とても良いミ ックスの作品が揃っていましたね。作品に関わった皆さんに感谢したいです。 2. Incredible feel, on all the different genre's of songs. When she sings ballades you feel her emotions, if it's a dance track she makes you want to dance. A True Songstress! 2. さまざまなジャンルで歌うことができてフィーリングが素晴らしいね。バラードを 歌うときは感伤的に、ダンスソングではダンスしたくなるような歌声だ。本物の歌手だ よ。 3. Very hard question, there are so many "Let It Smile" and "Wasurenai" strong Pop R&B, "Sobanite" so lovely, "Maware" lets Dance; but "Hatenaku" WOW what a smooth sophisticated ballad sung with such feel, your hair stands up on your back. WOW!! 5. 难しい质问だなあ。"Let it Smile" と"Wasurenai" は力强いR&Bソングだし、” Sobaniite" も好きだよ。"Maware"もダンスしたくなってしまう。でも"Hatenaku"は 惊 くくらい洗练されていて「わお！」思うようなボーカルだよ。 6. Working on a new album for LL Cool J, Charlie Wilson, Toshi Yonekura, and a great new female singer named "RaVaughn" 6. LL Cool J, Charlie Wilsonそして新人の女性シンガーRaVaughn"のニューアルバム などを手がけたよ。 7. The short story is: A long time ago in a distant galaxy I was a DJ; lol; who wanted his vinyl records to sound better, so I decided to get into mastering to make all records I touch "PUMP" and sound Fantastic!! I think it worked! 7. 长い话しを要约すると、远い远い昔に私はDJだった（笑）。彼に良い音质のレコー ドを提供したいと思ってマスターリングを始めたのさ。仆の作品には"PUMP"と记载した んだ、いいアイデアだったよ。 8. I really don't remember, but the first Gold record rewarded to me was "Planet Rock"-Soul Sonic Force. Tommy Boy Records 8. 本当に覚えていないんだ。だけど、"Planet Rock" Soul Sonic Forse (Tommy Boy Records）だと思うよ。 9. I Love watching Science fiction Movies and shows, Riding my 21 speed Bike for exercise, and making homemade apple pies (anti exercise, they are really good); maybe even my next job if I stop mastering lol 9. SF映画を観るのが大好きなんだ。自転车でエクササイズもしてるし、自家制のアッ プルパイ（エクササイズとは目的が反対だけど、とても美味しい）も作ったりしている 。マスターリングの仕事を辞めたらそれを次の仕事にしようかな（笑）。 10. Very powerful vocal performance 1. とてもパワフルなボーカルパファーマンスだね。 2. Her vocal style is very versatile – it works with any style. powerful ballad, club music or acoustic music setting… 2. 彼女の歌声は、パワフルなバラード、クラブ・ミュージック、や生楽器を使った演 奏などどんなスタイルとても良いね。 3. I kept the ballad more neutral and close to the original mix. I added more treatment to the pop songs to make it danceable. 3. バラードはさらに自然にそしてオリジナルのミックスになるべく近いように仕上げ た。ポップな曲の方にはダンサブルになるよう色々と味付けをしたよ。 4. To make it consistent, so that fans can enjoy the entire album as one piece. 4. ファンの人达がこのアルバムを一つの作品として楽しめるよう一贯性を持たせたよ 。 5. Maybe the first track “Into The Light” – it has the nice old school disco feel to it. 5. 最初のトラック「In To The Light」かな。昔のディスコのフィーリングがあるから ね。 6. Hope you’ll enjoy the album. 10. このベストアルバムを乐しんでいただけたら幸いです。 「つつみ込むように（15th ver）」MIX Engeeneer GO　HOTODA ゴウ・ホトダ 1. 原曲のリリースが 1998年ですから実に15年の月日が彼女にも自分にもそしてこのヒ ット曲にも流れたと思うと感慨深いです。エンジニアリングの観点から言えば当时は未 だアナログコンソールで左から右まで10m近くあった巨大なコンソールでミックスして いたのが今ではすべてデジタルでミックス出来る时代になってしまった事も月日を感じ ます。 しかしどんなに技术が进化しても名曲と言われる楽曲、そして歌には决して色 あせる事ないのはその音楽に包み込まれた时代や过去の思い出、そして希望という未来 がロック（LOCK)されているんだと思います。 2. 歌声は衰えるどころかますます辉きを増していて素敌です。 ＜＜＜＜昨今折角の才 能を台无しにするような某歌手のようでなく＞＞＞＞蛇足？ 持って生まれた才能を良 い方向に导かれているんだと思わせる侧近の方々の爱情を感じます。 3. 昨今のプロダクションの进め方としてすべてがデジタル、ソフト・シンセ类という 事はもうすでに当たり前ですので、歌の処理は长年の仆のコレクションであるアナログ ・イコライザーやコンプレッサーを駆使した特别な処理をしています。特に今回使用し たLA-2AとうコンプレッサーはNew YorkのHit Factoryが闭锁した时に譲り受けたオリジ ナルでこのコンプレッサーにはHit Factoryで録音／ミックスされた着名アーチストの 歌声を响かせた特别なコンプレッサーです。 4. プロデューサーがDJ GOMくんと言う事もあってニューヨーク・クラブ・シーン全盛 の时代を意识したミックスになっています。是非大音量で闻いて欲しいミックスです。 5. 仆が渡米したのは1979~80でした。好きな音楽に毎日触れられるという単纯な理由で した。 6. ベルリンフィル・カラヤン指挥のベートベン第７番本当は指挥者になりたかった。 结果的にはミキサーという仕事は指挥にとっても似ている。 7. 音楽ミックス以外のこと全て。子供と游んだり、船で冲に出て钓りしたり、庭仕事 。 8. 最後にMISIA ファンにメッセージをお愿いします。一绪に仕事をしそうで、今日迄 一绪に仕事をする事がなかったのが不思议です。 これからも非力ながらも自分が携わ る事によって彼女の魅力が更に开花すればそれは素晴らしい事だと思います。乞うご期 待！ --
