Duration of Skype / Phone Interview: 30 minutes
Pre-Interview Questions:
1. Where are you physically located, Taiwan or the States?
2. How late is it in Taiwan now?
3. When and how did you become a permanent resident?
Interview Questions:
1. You are quite different from many other applicants because it seems you know exactly what to do next. Tell me what you expect to learn from this MBA degree.
2. How did you narrow down the schools you were looking at? Is there anything you feel interested about UT Dallas?
3. Can you give me the name of a company you would like to join after graduation?
4. Tell me something fun about yourself that is not academic or listed in your resume.
5. Any questions for me?

虽说是 30 分钟，
但前面光是处理 Skype 声音品质不佳的问题，
再加上改用电话面试就折腾了将近十分钟…
UT Dallas 同样也采非 blind interview，
所以 CV 和 essay 面试官都仔细阅读过。
与其说是个正式面试，
倒还不如说是他们只想跟面试者聊个天、从谈吐来确认履历没有灌水灌得太凶。
因此与其他多数学校相比，
这间的面试问题明显精简许多。
Q&A 时间 Lisa 也很热情地介绍 UT Dallas，
除了我原先就知道德州和达拉斯的经济可发展性之外，
她分享了两个关於学校有趣的优势，
在这边跟大家分享：
1. 大多数名校都是先有大学部才依序有硕博班，
但 UT Dallas 自 1969 创校开始只有博士班，
然後才有硕士班，
直到大约 15 年前才开始设立大学部。
因此 UT Dallas 是相当重视研究的一所学校。
2. UT Dallas 校园充斥着雀跃的氛围，
每到开学季学生总是表现出迫不及待想要来到这里的样子。
她分析最主要的原因是 UT Dallas 是排名靠前的公立学校，
适合经济条件不是那麽好的优秀学生来就读，
许多报到的学生都是家族里第一个读大学或读博士班的孩子，
因此对整个家庭来说都是一件大事。
