Mariah Carey Doesn’t Want You for Christmas Anymore;
She Wants to Direct a Movie
Mariah Carey already made her name synonymous with Christmas
with one of her best-known songs (you know the one),
so who's more qualified to direct a Christmas movie starring
Mariah than Mimi herself? The singer will make her directorial
debut on the Hallmark Channel with Mariah Carey's Christmas Project,
a scripted holiday movie set to premiere in December.
She'll also co-star in the film, her first acting gig since 2013's
The Butler. But if you're worried it'll be another Glitter repeat,
just think of the possibility that this could mean yet another classic
Mariah Carey Christmas carol for Ariana Grande to cover at every tree
lighting until the end of time. Fingers crossed!
