注： 前数日读到发明家Nikola Tesla 的传记，此人才华横溢，但终生未婚，
也从未有任何正式交往对象。
挚友之妻Kathryn Johnson 为其倾心，然数十年来皆落花有意，流水
无情。Tesla 倾心研究，始终不正面回应Kathryn 信中绵绵情意。
见其鱼雁往还中柔情似水，甚为感动。故成此诗，以拟Kathryn 倾慕
Tesla 之心情。兹节录Kathryn 所书信件部分内容如後附。
" Do you know that I am going abroad in the Spring, the early Spring,
and who knows, perhaps these familiar scenes may know me no more.
So if you have not forgotten me entirely,or fogotten to be fond of me
-- I have forgotten to forget. "
"We shall soon be far away but then you would never know it. You do
not need anybody, inhuman that you are. How strange it is that we
cannot do without you.
"I want to see if you have grown younger, more fashionable, more proud.
But whatever you may be you will always find me the same. "
"You must come here tomorrow evening as I want to see you for many
reasons, to know how you are. But why try to enumerate them?
You know them all except one. "
