IT'S OFFICIAL: LFC PLAYER OF THE SEASON
When we asked Liverpool supporters to nominate their Player of the Season
for 2005/06, almost 40,000 made the effort to vote with Steven Gerrard coming
out a clear winner.
Having enjoyed his best ever season in terms of goals, Gerrard ended up with
33% of the vote with Jamie Carragher and Xabi Alonso finishing second and
third respectively. Momo Sissoko attracted 8% of the vote, an amazing
achievement for the youngster after only his first season in England.
