Lionel Messi has won the European Golden Shoe for the sixth time after ending the league campaign with 36 goals to his name, 3 more than second placed Kylian Mbappé who played his final league game for PSG on Friday. The Barça number 10 now has six Golden Shoes in his personal trophy cabinet, two ahead of his nearest rival, Cristiano Ronaldo. Then come a whole host of famous names who have claimed the award on two separate occasion; Eusébio, Gerd Müller, Dudu Georgescu, Fernando Gomes, Ally McCoist, Mário Jardel, former Barça player Thierry Henry, Diego Forlán and his great friend and team mate Luis Suárez.
