标题[问题] 安装crosstool显示错误

系统ubuntu-8.04-desktop-i386
用crosstool-0.43版
按照官网上的how-to一步步做
最後发现以下错误讯息
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether ln -s works... yes
checking for pwd... /bin/pwd
checking for arm-linux-gcc... gcc
checking version of gcc... 4.2.3, bad
checking for gnumake... no
checking for gmake... no
checking for make... make
checking version of make... 3.81, ok
configure: error:
*** These critical programs are missing or too old: gcc
*** Check the INSTALL file for required versions.
请问一下是不是因为我的gcc版本太新（4.2.3）
以致没办法编译程式
如果是这样要怎麽解决？
