标题[请益] modality 以及 durative event

下面是政大97年的语概考题
( ) Which of the following sentences does not represent a durative event?
(A) Mary swam for two hours
(B) She made a cake
(C) We arrived at home.
这题答案我选C，不知道答案是不是这个...
( ) The usage of "must" in the sentence "John must be at the car dealer"
is called ________ modality.
(A) deontic (B) epistemic (C) evidential
这题我是选B，(好像没有evidential modality这种东西的样子...)
deontic 和 epistemic 要怎麽区分呢? 有没有其他例子?
还有一个问题...
[+/-nasality]对英文的母音来讲，是一种redundant feature，
那麽对子音来讲，redundant feature是[+/-aspirated]吗?
送气好像可以从environment来判断，所以应该是redundant?
