想请教以下一题师大考题，我题目都不太确定看不看得懂@@。老师有教一下，
不过还是听不太懂~"~。好像是跟OT有关。希望有高手能帮帮忙，30分的考题
不太敢放弃~"~。
(a) Use the English past-tence rule to discuss the following constraint:
sequences of obstruents that differ at most with respect to voicing
not permitted within English words.
(b) Discuss the relationship between this type of modifying constraints and
the faithfulness constraints. Argue for the significance of these notions
in the construction of a theory about our general understanding of human
language.
可以的话顺便请教什麽是OT吗? 谢谢^^"
