下列句子来自母语人士的英语：

不论little还是small都可以形容mouse，可是含意不同，
little形容的老鼠都像是故事或是寓言当中的小老鼠，亲切可爱，
说话者带有个人的情感，颇有拟人化的修辞技巧；
但是，small来形容老鼠例子比较少，而且像是事实的描写，不带个人情感，
就是小只的老鼠.....
